Yesterday, David Byrne (Talking Heads) and Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent, released their long awaited collaboration album, "Love This Giant". After one listen this morning, I highly encourage you all to give the record a good once over. If you are a Talking Heads fan you will love the bouncy, hypnotic tunes reminiscent of the Heads' hit album "Fear of Music". If you are a St. Vincent fan you will adore the way her curiously, beautiful voice compliments Byrne's in 'Who' and 'The One Who Broke Your Heart', as well as her numerous solo tracks on the album. Overall, this album grooves. It is carried along by a prominent brass section that creates the backbeat to the two artists' vocal and lyrical experimentation. Be sure to pick up a copy of this album!
